Present: Present publishes essays, non-fiction, features, visual art, and reviews. In addition to seeking work that reflects the diverse cultural and regional perpectives of Theravada Buddhist monastic and lay practitioners, we also invite submissions from new and emerging monastic and lay writers. While not limited to the publication of female contributors, we particularly encourage submission by women. Present is committed to helping Theravada Buddhist monastic and lay voices be heard.
